A differential pressure gauge is an instrument used to measure and indicate the pressure difference between two points in a system.
Unlike a conventional pressure gauge, which typically measures the pressure at a single point relative to atmospheric pressure, a differential pressure gauge compares two pressures simultaneously and directly displays the difference between them.
It usually has two pressure taps, one connected to the point of higher pressure and the other to the point of lower pressure. The indicated value corresponds to the difference between these two conditions.
