Operation:

Positive Displacement Principle:

They consist of a helical rotor that rotates inside a corresponding stator with a helical cavity. The geometry of these propellers is what creates a pumping action.

Cavity Formation:

As the rotor rotates, it creates cavities between the rotor blades and the stator walls. These cavities move axially, forcing fluid to be transferred along the pump axis.

Progressive Shift:

The progressive displacement of the cavities is what contributes to the smooth and consistent pumping of viscous fluids.

Flux control:

Flux control is achieved by varying the rotational speed of the rotor or by adjusting the geometric characteristics of the rotor and stator.
