The Mooney viscometer is an instrument used to measure the Mooney viscosity of rubbers and plastics by calculating the sample's resistance to the rotation of a metal disk inside a heated chamber.
It determines the processing performance of these materials by evaluating properties such as plasticity through the torque measured during the sample deformation test.
The standard Mooney viscosity test, known as ML(1+4)@100°C (Large Rotor, 1-minute preheating, 4-minute test at 100°C), has a cycle time of approximately 5 to 10 minutes per sample, depending on the equipment's automation and operator efficiency.
The equipment is in operation and has been refurbished/overhauled.
Comes with software, which has been recently calibrated. |
